Changelog

What's new on Teamstrats, newest first. Changes with a colored edge are major; tap a change to read more.

November 2026

Updated
A clearer Play tabPlay now shows what matters right now: the game, the match of the day, or your preparation.
  • Fixed: a game started from Play on match day had no opponent or game plan and did not count for the match. On match day the form now fills in the next map by itself; choose "Not part of this match" for a scrim.
  • The order follows the moment. During a game you see the game and its plan first, on match day the IGL and coach see the start of the next map first, and on other days the preparation.
  • Next match and Match readiness are now one card. Every readiness point is a link to the place where you fix it, and times read like "Today 20:00" or "In 2 days".
  • Starting a game is shorter: tap Start on T or Start on CT. Opponent, game plan and format are under More options.
  • Your own task now shows under every strat in the game plan, and new or updated strats that are in the plan come first under To read.
  • In a BO3 or BO5 you can switch between the game plans of the maps still to come. On a computer, players now get two columns on Play too.
  • A new team sees the steps to its first game: invite players, fill in the lineup, make a strat and start.

October 2026

Updated
New lookTeamstrats has a new design: clearer, sharper and easier to read.
  • New fonts and colors on every page. Orange now means you or your next action, teal means good or won, and red means live, lost or danger.
  • A new start page that shows what Teamstrats does.
  • A side menu on PC and a menu at the bottom on a phone, with the running game always one tap away.
  • On a wide screen the Play tab has two columns: the game and the game plan on the left, your strats on the right, so you scroll less.
  • On a phone the screen scrolls to the strat as soon as the IGL or coach picks one.
  • On the live screen the IGL now sees the strats to pick at the top, with their own role below (also on a phone).
  • The live screen has two columns for the IGL too: picking the next strat on the left, the rounds on the right. The Won and Lost buttons stay at the bottom.
  • When you create or edit a strat, a preview shows what players will see while you type.
  • The utility library shows your items as cards side by side with larger images.
  • Players and phones keep the single column.
Game prepPlan a match with a map veto and briefing, and share your game plan with the whole team.
  • Plan a match: date, BO1, BO3 or BO5, the map veto and a briefing. Tap Make plan at a map to build its game plan right there, also for every map you might play before the veto is known. Players mark the briefing as read, and the next map starts with the right map, opponent and plan. Played matches stay together on the History tab.
  • The Play tab now shows one thing: the game plan for your next game, with the map and opponent in the title.
  • All game plans moved to a new Game plans section in the Library, sorted by map, for the whole team to read. The IGL and coach make and edit them there, and changes are saved as you go.
  • Every game plan is for one map. Older plans with several maps were split into one plan per map.
  • Pick a game plan when you start a game. A plan linked to the opponent is already selected. An old plan no longer stays behind after End game.
  • A team can save up to 60 game plans.
  • The plan is sorted per map and side into Pistol, Gun rounds, Eco and Anti-eco. Mark a strat as plan B and write when to use it.
  • Match readiness on the Play tab shows the IGL and coach what is done and what is left before the next match: veto, notes, a game plan per map and the briefing.
Live gamesPick strats, follow the round and see the score, together with your team.
  • Team stats on the History tab: win rate per map and side, gaps in your playbook, and strats you have not played lately.
  • If the connection drops, the live screen says so and reconnects by itself, also after a longer outage. It then catches up with what you missed.
  • New live screen: your own role on top, and for the IGL and coach big Won and Lost buttons with Undo, Switch side and End game behind the three dots.
  • The side switches by itself after half time and in overtime. You see the score per half, match point and stats per round type.
  • Game plan: the IGL or coach lines up strats before the game (pistol, first rounds, a plan B). They are listed first, with a "Plan" label.
  • Save several game plans under a name (for example per map or opponent). The IGL or coach loads one on the team page or from the live screen during a game.
  • Repeat button: pick the strat of the previous round again with one tap.
  • Coach message: one short message for the whole team during a match.
  • Games shorter than 5 rounds are not saved by accident: you are asked to save, throw away or keep playing.
  • Tapping a round type (Full, Force, Eco, Anti-eco) no longer removes the strat you already picked; it only changes which strats are shown first.
  • A more compact live screen: the logo, menu and links at the bottom are gone while you play, and everything sits closer together, so the strats and the Won/Lost buttons have more room (most on a phone). Tap "← your team" to go back.
  • A new live screen: a scoreboard with every round at the top, and on a phone your own task comes first. On a PC the IGL and coach get three columns: picking, the strat, and the opponent with the rounds.
StratsFind your strats faster and build them more easily.
  • Strats moved to the Library tab, together with utility and map notes. One map choice works for all three. Play now keeps only what you need for the game; players still find their favorites there.
  • Strats are grouped per map, then T and CT, then round type. Players see their own task under each strat; the IGL and coach see win rates.
  • Search through titles, descriptions, tasks and steps. Mark strats as Draft or star your favorites.
  • The strat form picks roles from your team's lineup, fills in the buy from the round type, lets you pick weapons from a list and folds long roles. Empty roles are skipped.
  • Your work in the form is kept for 7 days if you close the page by accident.
  • Add up to 4 images to a step.
  • See a strat as a timeline: every role side by side, moment by moment, with your own column marked. Per role shows the cards as before.
  • IGL and coach: export your strats as CSV or JSON, or import them from a file, under Import / export in the Library. Empty templates are there too. You first see what will be added and what is wrong. Existing strats stay as they are, a title that already exists gets a number, and images are not included.
OpponentsOne page per opponent to prepare together, with notes, results and a game plan per map.
  • Open an opponent on the History tab: results and strats per map, notes per map and side, and a game plan per map. The whole team can read it.
  • A linked game plan loads by itself when you start that map against them. The note for your map and side shows on the live screen.
  • Typed a name in two ways? Merge the names, or rename an opponent.
  • The IGL or coach adds a note per opponent on the History tab. Type the opponent when you start a game and the whole team sees the note on the live screen.
  • A note is removed with the new "Delete note" button. Saving an empty note no longer removes it by accident.
  • Per opponent you also see your wins and losses and the strats you played against them.
Utility library and map notesSave reusable utility and notes per map, and pick standard utility from the Teamstrats library.
  • The word "null" no longer shows up in the form for a new map note.
  • Insert saved utility into steps.
  • Map notes show on the live screen.
  • New: the Teamstrats library has standard utility for every team. The IGL or coach opens Library, then Utility, then "Add from Teamstrats library", ticks what they want and adds it. You get a copy you can change. Items that belong together come in packs you can select in one go.
  • If the Teamstrats library improves an item you copied, you see "Update available" and can update your copy.
  • The IGL or coach can suggest their own utility to all teams ("Suggest to the library"). It shows up for other teams once it has been approved, and you choose whether your team name is shown next to it. If a suggestion is not accepted, you see why.
  • Search the Teamstrats library by name, text or pack, and sort it by newest, most added or name. Each item shows how many teams added it.
  • Add a lineup position to a utility item (the line you get from getpos in the CS2 console) and copy it with one tap, so you can stand on the exact spot on your own server.
  • The IGL or coach can report an item that no longer works (for example after a game update).
  • IGL and coach can delete several items at once: tap Select, tick the items (or Select all) and tap Delete selected.
  • The Teamstrats library is more compact: each item is one line, tap Details for the text, lineup and images, and use "Select all shown" to add many items at once.
TeamsSeveral teams, a favorite team, logos and clearer pages.
  • Invite codes now work once by default. Tick "Allow multiple uses" if a whole group should use the same link.
  • The IGL and coach see in the member list when someone joined and with which code.
  • Tap the ★ on "My teams" to choose the team you are "Playing for". When its game starts you get a pop-up with "Join live view"; for other teams only a small notice.
  • The IGL or coach can add a team logo and rename or assign the roles on the Team tab. Every team has an owner who can hand over ownership.
  • The owner can now also be a regular player, as long as the team has another IGL or coach, and can hand over ownership to any member.
  • If you are the last member and leave, you type the team name to confirm; the team is then deleted.
  • "My teams", the feedback page and the start page look better.
DemoLook around with example strats and players, without an account.
  • Every example person has a short line about what you will see as them, and a tip to try the live view with two tabs.
  • "Try the demo" always asks you to pick a person first.
  • Every example person is a link: middle-click (or Ctrl+click) to open them in a new tab. Each tab keeps its own person, so you can be the IGL in one tab and a player in another.
  • The example utility and every example strat now come with images (where to stand and where to aim).
Account and privacySafer and calmer signing in, and your own data.
  • Short-lived sessions that renew automatically, and no more surprise sign-outs when you reload a page.
  • Download a copy of your own data from "My teams".
  • Better protected sign-in and stricter browser security settings. You may need to sign in once more after this update.
  • If signing in through Steam fails, you now get a short, clear message about what went wrong.
Smaller improvementsA clearer changelog, a development notice and more.
  • Fixed tick boxes whose text was squeezed into a narrow column, such as Overtime when starting a game and the kit and grenades in the strat editor.
  • This changelog: major changes stand out, every change says who it is for, and a dot next to "Changelog" shows when there is something new.
  • The start page says Teamstrats is still in development, so big things may change.
  • History shows today and yesterday; older games are behind "Show older games".
  • Suggestions & bugs and a Support page are linked at the bottom of the site.
  • Strats you have not seen or that changed are marked New or Updated.
  • Typing a round time on a phone works (type 145 and it becomes 1:45).
  • Small fixes: the star on My teams no longer overlaps the arrow, buttons line up with the fields next to them, buttons on a phone are easier to tap, and the strat preview also appears after you make the window wider.
  • Clicking quickly through the site no longer gives a "Too many requests" error.
